This website ("website") is operated by GymRats UK, which includes GymRats stores, and GymRats Private Sales. This privacy policy only covers information collected at this website, and does not cover any information collected offline by GymRats UK. All GymRats UK websites are covered by this privacy policy. GymRats UK is a trading name of GYM RATZ, GymRatZ and GymRatZ.co.uk and as such all reference to the trading name GymRats UK shall also be applicable to any and all trading names of and including the parent partnership company trading as GymRatZ. 

NOTE: Please be aware that we are currently "live-load" testing this server and website framework including server security and other critical features with a default product database and directory. The GymRatZ Group: All of the above information that we collect, as described above, may be shared among all GymRats UK entities although in straight talking terms it's as simple as saying "Pete & Deb" the two business persons that form the GymRatZ partnership and with whom all trading activities and liabillities are bound, oh and the accountant that has a copy of our accounts database every year purely for fulfilling our accounting obligations.

Service Providers: No, we don't work with any outside companies to handle data or process e-mails, marketing or anything else for that matter so this section from the templated document is a bit redundant really as it originally rattled on about data processing, marketing, e-mail campaigns etc, all of which we would do in-house if we even had time, which we don't so it's not relevant and ensures your details are kept unquestionably confidential and private.

Other Companies: Again, as per the above paragraph, we don't pass your details on to any company for any action or purpose other than those essential to the fulfillment of your order from store to door as is your implied consent by action of ordering products or services from GymRats UK store or site.

Business Transitions: We may transfer or share a copy of personal information about you in the event that GymRats UK or one of its properties, affiliates, or subsidiaries goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets. You will be notified via email or prominent notice on our website prior to a change of ownership or control of your personal information, if your personal information will be used contrary to this policy. However, nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to interfere with the ability of GymRats UK (GymRatZ) to transfer all or part of its business and/or assets to an affiliate or independent third party at any time, for any purpose, without any limitation whatsoever.

GymRats UK specifically reserves the right to transfer or share a copy of personally identifiable information collected from its websites to the buyer of that portion of its business relating to that information.

Direct Mail or Telephone Marketing: If you shop at the Gymrats UK or Private Sales stores and wish to be removed from the list of customers that HAVE REQUESTED to receive direct mail or telemarketing calls (not that we've ever had the time or inclination to do either of these but we'll keep this paragraph here just incase...), please either call 01179 118139 or e-mail us or use the website contact form and state one of the following:

• "NO MAIL OFFERS" (if you don't want to receive offers by mail);
• "NO PHONE OFFERS" (if you don't want to receive offers by phone);

In all honesty though, we set up an e-mailing list 20 years ago which was more of a news-letter than anything and we managed around 5 or 6 mailings and gave up due to being too busy to continue so high-pressure sales driven marketing just isn't going to happen but if you want to twiddle your fingers waiting then simply opt-in from your account and who knows, you may catch an unbeatable bargain!

Your information will still be stored with us but it will not be accessible to anyone else from that computer.

Emails

You will receive promotional emails from us only if you have asked to receive them. If you do not want to receive email from GymRats UK or its affiliates you can click on the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email communication sent by us. Please allow us 3 business days from when the request was received to complete the removal, as some of our promotions may already have been in process before you submitted your request.
