NOHrD WallBars Oxbridge Cherry (10 Rung)

The 10 Rung NOHrD Oxbridge Cherry WallBars are manufactured in Germany from sustainable Cherry wood perfectly matching the whole Oxbridge WaterRower/NOHrD models.

Cherrywood typically starts off light in colour and is often dificult to tell between the Oxbridge and the Natural-Ash when both models are viewed side by side however our experience is that the HoneyOak stain on the Ash takes on darkening golden colour over time whereas the Cherrywood ages to a more reddish brown. It should be noted that all of the wooden components making up the NOHrD/WaterRower range come from different parts of different trees of the same species, not so noticeable with white or stained woods but some woods like the black walnut can vary from dark to white giving rise to more charachterful colouration.

Both the 10 hole And the 14 hole Oxbridge wallbars have the same overall dimensions, the only difference being the wider spacing afforded by having 4 less rungs in the wall-bar frame. The wider spacing of these 10-hole Oxbridge Cherry wallbars provides a spacing of 18cm between rungs which some users find more desireable for supporting the foot in a stretch as would be performed by a martial artist, gymnast or dancer for example. The 10 rung wallbar models typically stay in stock longer than the 14 rung wall-bars so this might be a key factor in your decision.
