The WaterRower Oxbridge Rowing Machine is Handmade from solid Cherry Wood derived from sustainable sources. All WaterRowers with the exception of the A1 Studio and the Performance Ergometer are equipped with the S4 performance workout monitor.

Review of the WaterRower Oxbridge in Cherry Wood
The WaterRower Oxbridge with S4 Performance Workout Monitor is made from a beautiful Cherry Wood which typically starts out as quite a light finish almost identical to the WaterRower Natural (ash), even the grain of the wood is very similar in the units we've seen side by side but the differences show up more as the woods age and although both WaterRowers are finished with a Danish Oil to both seal and protect the wood it would appear that the Ash-wood seems to age to a more golden colour and the Cherry wood of the Oxbridge darkens more.
That said, no two trees are the same so just like any natural wood product there's no absolute guarantee how time and differing light will affect the ageing process of the wood but one thing is certain; your WaterRower Oxbridge will make a beautiful addition to any home whether being used or on non-training days.
The WaterRower SmartMonitor and tablet/phone holders as featured as standard on the WaterRower Performance Ergometer are both available as an add-on option for all of the wooden WaterRower (Excluding the A1 Studio) but this is a DIY option rather than a factory
