ComModule Install
The WaterRower ComModule is a smart accessory added to the back of the existing S4 Performance Monitor. The Bluetooth ComModule provides the WaterRower user with fitness machine metrics over a wireless Bluetooth communication to a mobile or tablet application. The module is self-contained and should not be opened without experience. The battery should only be replaced by one of the same manufacturer and specification.
NOTE: The WaterRower ComModule requires the S4 Performance Monitor Version 2 (S4.2) The simple way to tell the difference between workout monitors is the Series 3 monitor was rectangular and now very old, the Series 4 v1 (S4.1) is the same shape as the the current Series 4 v2 except the S4.1 has a circular 9-pin serial port on the rear (not compatible with ComModule) wheres the S4(v2) has a mini USB port on the rear which has been around for many years now and is essential for the Communications Module to plug into.
