Made from Oak wood it is a combination of the finest wood married to the latest WaterRower technology to provide the ultimate rowing ergometer in both looks and features.
What's an Ergometer? Well, it's a posh name for a rowing machine atcan accurately measure energy expenditure by the user. In the case of this unit that feat is achieved by combing the latest in electronic sensors with the unbeatable quality, reliabillity and known measurable force of a set amount of water in the resistence drum, so while it's still a rowing machine or rowing simulator it's also a precision ergometer not formerly achievable with the regular workout monitor or at least not to the same degree of accuracy.
Fitted with the WaterRower SmartRow feedback device which connects via bluetooth to your phone or tablet device the standard workout monitor has been removed and the WaterRower tablet/phone holder added which ensures all valuable feedback data is kept at eye-line to monitor rowing performance on every stroke.
The WaterRower SmartMonitor and tablet/phone holders are also available as an add-on for the rest of the wooden WaterRower range but the cost of the SmartMonitor is partially offset on the Performance Ergometer by the absence of the standard WaterRower S4 monitor.
